In addition to being a writer, I own a small business called Corktease Wine Country Gear. Most businesses use social media to manage their existing brand identity and advertise products, but I used social media to create my business from the bottom up. What began as just another persona on Twitter — @corktease — I turned into a full-fledged brand.
